A mirror image
Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen by Ace & Tate
Our limited-edition, futuristic Anderson has landed. We teamed up with Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen to design a new mirror image; inspired by the iconic facade of the building. Scroll down to get a closer look.
Reflect the sun with mirrored lenses. It's a look that's sure to stand out.
The modern, minimal frame has a metallic silver shade and is made from recycled acetate.
Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen
The depot is an eye-catching (to put it mildly) landmark in Rotterdam and is the world's first publicly accessible art storage facility. The mirrored facade is pretty mesmerising, while the floating, bowl-shaped structure adds to its futuristic feel.
The reflective facade is made of 6,609 square metres of glass, subdivided into 1,664 mirrored panels.
Working with From Form
A Rotterdam landmark calls for a Rotterdam-based creative studio. And we were thrilled to work again with none other than From Form. Their vision for the project perfectly captures the dreamlike feel of the building, allowing the viewer to enter an imaginary world of reflections.
The limited-edition frame is available online and in selected stores. You'll also find them in the Depot building or on the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen website here.
