Frequently asked question
Yes, you need to purchase your glasses first before applying for a refund with your insurance.
If you're in the Netherlands: you only need to have the invoice for your glasses, you can upload this to the digital portal of your insurance provider. If you're in Belgium: it depends on your insurance provider (see "Reimbursement BE"_). You might need to send extra forms with stamps via post or digitally. Unfortunately, we cannot help you with this.
This can be handled in all our stores in Belgium. You won't need this stamp in the Netherlands.
To get your glasses reimbursed, you need to send the invoice to your insurance provider yourself, either digitally or via post.
If you have the right to receive reimbursement this year, make sure you buy the glasses this year. By buying them this year, you will have an invoice with the purchase date of this year as well — which you will need. If you haven't made your claim in the year of purchase and would like to do so in the year that follows, this is still possible as well.
Unfortunately, this is not possible, the invoice will have the purchase date on it.
Your insurance provider will not consider it done in 2024, because the invoice will have the purchase date on it.
