Yes, you have to buy new glasses before you can claim a refund from your insurance company. Check with your insurance company in advance to see if you can claim a refund if you submit your invoice after your purchase.
Before you buy your new glasses, check with your insurance company if they will cover the cost of your glasses if you submit your invoice after your purchase. We are not in direct contact with your insurance company and we cannot settle your purchase directly with them.
If you have the right for a refund this year, make sure to buy the glasses this year. By buying them this year, you'll also get an invoice with the purchase date of this year – which you'll need. If you have not yet made a claim in the year of purchase and you would like to do so in the following year, this is still possible. Again, check with your insurance company as this entirely depends on your insurance and policy.
Unfortunately, this is not possible, the invoice will have the purchase date on it.
Your insurance will not consider it done in 2023 as the invoice will state the date of purchase.
